What Life is Really About
Over the past several months, I have been so focused on earning money to give my children a better life, I lost perspective of what life was really about.
My youngest son has asthma and has been hospitalized now for the past 5 days. As I sat with him in the hospital next to his bed watching his little body gasp for every breath, I came to realize the one thing I lost perspective of in my determination to make extra money. Although my goals to accopmplish extra wealth was for my children I can only wonder if it would make any difference. Would his breathing be any better? I sat with him every day trying to be brave as he continued to not do well, trying to hide my tears from not only him but his brother as well, praying to god that my son will be alright.
I sat there each day afraid to leave his side as this my be the last time I may see him. For some people it may be hard to understanding living with that fear each day but I remeber my older brother dying from his asthma when I was 10. Like any parent I began to bargin with god, then moved up to the realization of fact as his condition started to improve. I have already missed 3 days of work, That I really could not afford to go without my paycheck, even though I had started to make some money online I knew it was not enough to cover my regular bills let alone the now overwhelming expenses from this hospital stay. Intensive care ranges from $12 thousand to $15 thousand dollars a day. I am sure we are very close to that. Of curse those expenses do not include the doctors, the xrays and the emergency room cost. You see we have no insurance.
Last night my son finally came home from the hospital, and as my children were in the back seat asking each other what they wanted to do when that got home, and what they could not wait to do (kinda like Christhmas Morning) they asked me if I was going to work online to get some more money? Surprising to me that my children most have sensed my fears about the bills the whole time. I started to think about what I could do when I got home. Only to pull in my drive to find that my ex had finally decided to show up.
I was so tired not only emotionally but physically from our week in the hospital, I knew I did not want to deal with him. I had no energy left to think straight let alone fight with him. When we got out of the car my children were so excited to see their dad, I almost felt better about the situation. Of course that only last a brief second---Instead of him saying hello he could only blame me for my son being sick!!!! I was to tired to care but I wanted to say to him--who was he to blame and judge me as he did not even come to see our son in the hospital?
At that very moment I realized my whole life had come to a halt---I finally realized what life was really about. It was not the ability to pay our bills or care what other do or not do but to be there for those we love----
I found myself for the first time in a long time Thanking god for what we had--each other. My children are both alive. The greatest gift I could give them and it is free---I love them.
Increase Conversions to Websites
I recently recieved an e-mail from 'Rich Jerk' . I am not sure who he is, but in the e-mail there was a link to a video. Although, the authors intentions are for "revenge" (something to do with a book) the idea remaind the same. The videos were produced by Brad Fallen and Andy somebody. When I watched the video; I found it to be extremely helpful to me. It talked about ways to increase traffic to your sites and to increase conversions. The video is a series of 3, free to anyone who wants to watch them. My understanding from the e-mail the videos may not be online for long. Looking for a new Forum or just another to use?
Hi everyone!!
I am very new to this whole blogging/forum thing and found with different ones that it is not always easy to do. I am trying very hard to revenue additional income for my family. I love my lifestyle as it is and am very thankful for my children. With the cost of living going up I decided to try working from home not to get rich as the site claim but to allow my children to continue to have the lifestyle we have been acustom to for the past several years. My son though had sustained an injury and needed several surgeries when I found out (after the bill collectors started harrassing me) that his father no longer had insurance and I was not elgible for it at work. In order for him to continue to have the medical treatment I had to start picking and choosing what was getting paid this month---of course my son won in most cases. I had not had to live this way for years. By all means I do not have money and never went on vacations but I was at least able to pay my bills and do something with my children at least twice a month.
I know this is way off base from my title but I wanted to explain first why I am writing to you.
In my search for that perfect oppurtunity for increased revenue to survive; the system I purchased stated to use the forums/blogging site to revenue money; I will tell you I have no desire to be rich (money causes just another problem) but I am not against having money. [I have not yet figured out how I make money from it either and if anyone can tell me how this happens I would appreciate it.] I will also tell you even if I did get rich from the system I would never quite my job as I have worked to hard and spent 8 years in college (paid for by myself) to up and quite---I know I am glutting for punishment but I truely love my career and would never leave it after 18+ years.
I wanted to share with anyone who reads this and enjoys blogging/forums a site I found and really like. I signed up with 8 of them so far and can tell you there has only been one that really has helped me. I really want to give my thanks to Steve (vangaugh) for all his help. I am unclear if he is the founder or not but I do know he is one of the big guys. Although I have beat up his mind with questions and asked for help he has taken the time to answer each of my questions. He gave direction and made things make sense to me. (I probable learned more from him about computers in the couple e-mails we sent then I ever learned in the past 10 years that I owned one) My kids are even yelling at me now to get off instead of me yelling at them.
If you are out there Steve and reading this I truely thank-you and hope you are just laughing at me.I have tried sending messages on the other forums for help and direction over the past 2 weeks I have been doing this and yet I have not gotten any response other then this is an automated e-mail and they will get back with me. I have lost interest in those sites now and do not use them.
Again, I would like to thank Steve for giving me some faith again, and also hope you may take a look at this site and find it as helpful as I have.

I was out surfing the web just looking for a way to earn some extra money online, when I noticed every Home Business Opportunity proclaimed I would be rich. I also noted the main attraction was I would start getting money in 15 minutes as well as thousands of dollars.
I am a very skeptical person with a Masters Degree, I consider myself to at least have some knowledge about computers.
